QPOC Flag In Virtual Counselor Offices

The counselor's at Normandy (kindergarten - 2nd grade) and Westerly (3rd and 4th grade)have "virtual counseling offices."

Both have the QPOC flag in their "Virtual Counseling Office."

According to tripridetn.org: the flag represents queer people of color (QPOC).  The flag is a sign of solidarity between the queer community and Black Lives Matter. Historically the raised fist
has served as an emblem of solidarity and support as well as an expression of unity, strength, defiance, and resistance.

The raised fist, according to wikipedia: The raised fist, or the clenched fist is a long standing image of mixed meaning, often a symbol of political solidarity.  It is also a common symbol of communism.... Different movements sometimes use different terms to describe the raised fist salute: amongst communist and socialists, raised right fist is called the red salute, whereas amongst African-American activists, especially in the US, it has been called the Black Power salute.
